Awareness campaign on the use of public resources
CNEE launches a vast awareness campaign on the use of energy and water resources, aiming to promote responsible use and fight against illegal connections.

At the citizen service

As Director General of the National Council for Water and Electricity (CNEE), I welcome you to our website.
Dear citizens, dear internet users, water and public lighting are major economic, environmental and societal issues.
The CNEE, serving citizens for nearly 30 years, is committed to managing public lighting networks, public water fountains commonly called public pumps, and hydraulic boreholes, thus striving to make these various resources accessible for the well-being of citizens in rural and urban areas.
With the will to be closer to users and meet everyone's needs, this communication platform will help better understand the sovereign missions of the CNEE which fall under public service and require proximity with citizens from all backgrounds.
This site also serves as a platform allowing us to collect intervention requests from users who notice a technical failure on streetlights or public fountains, thus avoiding travel and providing the opportunity to navigate via a communication medium accessible on all types of computers and smartphones.
To all of you, I wish you a pleasant navigation.

CNEE ensures, on behalf of the State, the implementation of public service related to the management of public lighting and drinking water networks. Its missions also cover the management of related equipment such as public fountains and traffic signal lights.
CNEE is a public administrative establishment, under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources. It has legal personality as well as administrative and financial autonomy. Created by law n°14/95 of November 23, 1995, CNEE is financed by two main resources: the Special Water Fund (CSO) and the Special Electricity Fund (CSE), established respectively by laws n°9/93 and n°10/93 of April 7, 1993.
